Great motor for the price, but the wires that came with it were poorly made. Make sure if you buy it you inspect the crimps there sould be alot more than 6 wire strands in a ground crimp.

Nice Motor

Barely adequate. Does not like the cold. Wish we went by torque and hp. Takes a lot less effort to keep things going then start and stop. My compressor shouldn't run marathons but it should get on step quickly charged or not. I even added an extra half horse over the original. The weight is much less than the original. Does have a thermal overload which I can attest does pop off.

I replaced an original 6.5 horse motor with this 5 horse unit thinking it may not have enough grunt to start my pressurized compressor. It starts it quire readily and doesn't even seem to work it hard. It starts and runs better than the OE motor - so far I am very pleased!

Base plate and wiring were identical to the old compressor motor. It came with clear wiring directions. Very easy to install. Works great.

Worked out great.The original motor on my air compressor failed so I bought this one with identical specs.Bolted right up and fired right up. Can't ask for more.
