We need instructions! There was no booklet. You say you can do other things but no how to do it instructions.

I love how this is a set-it-and-forget-it operation compared to the still that I bought that needs frequent attention. We have used this heavily and it is working great.

I make a “pot” every 3-4 weeks. It does take up a lot of counter space but worth it.

I love this machine! I can set the boiling temperature below 100°C because I live at 5,700' elevation. It works perfectly at 98°C. That minimizes any carry-over of volatile organic compounds (VOC) into the distilled water. I have made many gallons with this unit - usually 1 gallon daily. It has an automatic shutoff, but I prefer to use a timer set for 3 hours and 15 minutes so it doesn't boil dry. That makes the mineral cleanup easier. Be sure to buy some extra powdered citric acid to dissolve the minerals after each use. I rinse the distiller, then pour a little water in the bottom with a teaspoon of citric acid and let it sit. Cleanup is easy with a bristle brush.

I use it for infusing flavors into neutral spirits!

We have used this machine at least twice a day since we got it in November. Never a problem with it. We added a timer and don't let it run all the way down so we don't have to clean it too often. If there was anything I would change, it would be to have a bigger version. We use it for drinking water and ice, and it goes fast! :)

I can't believe how much comes out of our perfect water, tap water tastes good and is nice and clear but the report of contaminants gave me the urge to clean my water and now its tasteless and clean, I just can't believe how much stuff comes out

I received today and tested it by distilling 40% vodka and it works perfect. Only Celsius is available but that's not a big deal to me. Would recommend to everyone!

You will see others complaint here about that terrible owners manual and they are absolutely correct. However; Most of the information that you need is right here on the sale page so look it over as you begin because otherwise that manual is pretty much worthless that appears written by someone with not a great grasp of English.If you get the model with a glass jug then it’s tough putting the handle on with the metal straps. The video above shows a second of someone easily screwing the nut on the screw. Here’s what I figured. You don’t try to go with curve they are in. You reverse the curve so you are working above the connection, and not below. Why they have the curve the other way makes no sense. Also have a screwdriver and pliers handy. Trying to use your fingers only produces a lot of swearing….As for operation..MEN LISTEN UP: Yes! Those “Safety Read First” instructions are often full of obvious items, but I didn’t after wasting time setting up the handle and such, then I discovered why the first batch didn’t taste very good…Because it wasn’t supposed to. It’s still good for the humidifier though. ALSO: pay attention to Cleaning Instructions. I used an abrasive pad to scrub the bottom, but shouldn’t have. I didn’t see that earlier either.Otherwise the unit seem to work really well. I haven’t timed it but I think it fills the distilled pot in about two and a half hours. The fan is quite noisy, but I was expecting that…
