Great first distiller. It works great and the residue rubs off pretty easily after a soak with vinegar/acid and water. The target/actual temp display is nice, but the actual temp seems a little inaccurate (or at least overconfident). You can see the actual temp value instantly drop a several degrees when the target temp is adjusted. No doubt that's why they suggest setting the target temp 5 degrees above boiling. Might make this system less suitable for distilling alcohol, but its no problem for water. Happy with my purchase, but if doing it again I would look for something bigger and faster. This takes roughly 3.5 hours to distill a gallon, so I've been setting a timer for 3 hours to avoid running it dry.

the distiller does a fine job...my only complaints ... why the glass pot came without handle attached...most inconvenient ....and why the pot couldn't have a spout or have the cap for distilling "screw" on for pouring....

We got the distiller because the water is very hard in our area, causing mineral buildup on everything, especially our houseplant pots and saucers. It works great and we make at least one batch every day. Our plants are very healthy now!

I've had it for 2 months, it works wonderful, easy to use. I fill machine with instant hot dispenser, which cuts the running time to about 90 minutes and turn off machine before it runs dry. I so appreciate not having to locate jugs at store or wasting plastic jugs. I had no problems attaching handle or pouring water when filling jug.

Does what it is supposed to do. Not laboratory quality but rugged and works well. I have run over 60 gallons through it in 2 months. Treat all your tools gently and they are less likely to disappoint

2 months and several dozen gallons later 5 star.Very happy with this. No weird flavors, cleans up easily. Does what it should.

This thing is great. I've distilled over 50 gallons of water so far and it's still going strong.

I make about 5 gallons of distilled water a week. For coffee, CPAP machine, humidifiers. The Vevor has handled the job well. I recommend this product
