This is a fully manual cash drawer...you can lock the drawer, or leave it in a push to open status that doesn't require the key. Has 4 bill slots up top, plus a 5 slot coin tray that is removable separate from the whole drawer...the bonus is you have storage under the bill/coin trays for larger bills, checks, receipts, etc. Its a great drawer for the price, but keep in mind its fully manual, no power, no electronic open, and no electronic connections to hookup to a cash register, not sure why they reference cash register in the name, as it is not, and cannot be connected to one. This is great for a small business that wants to keep things simple, or someone wanting a better coin/bill storage device for a yard sale, flee market, food trailer, etc. I love it because its so compact, but it still has all the full size manual cash drawer features.

Bought the 13" and also the 16" version. Both worked as soon as plugged in. Seems robust construction and no problems after 1 month of heavy use.

This was purchased for my food truck. We have Square Register and needed a cash draw that was compatible. This was the right price and works great with the square system. Recommend this product
