Absolutely love this product. My sister had recommended this to me who lives in Colorado and I live in Minnesota so you know we get plenty of ice and snow. When it gets below zero it doesn't keep it entirely clear but the ice is able to be removed easily because it is not frozen solid. The water dripping from the roof evaporates. Living where we do, I can't expect any better. Love it, love it.

We always had an issue with ice build up outside our main door. We used salt and would still have an issue in cold weather. I initially bought one mat just for a door runner. After having no ice I feel safer going outside. I added a couple more mats and can walk to the driveway with no snow or ice. Lasr night we had 3 inches of snow and the mats are clean along with some concrete. The only thing I want to add is a smart controller.

I bought one of these to see how well they work. Worked great, so I bought two more. We use them on our back patio. Got twelve inches of snow and these had melted the snow about an inch all the way around each of them. No slipping on ice. These were completely clean with no snow on them whatsoever! It is so nice not to have to go shovel my porch landing off so that the screen door can open in the winter and my dogs can make it out to pee without me clearing the way. I have had my Heat Trak entrance mat for 4 months now. I got so excited about the landing mat that also bought 4 stair mats with the extra controller cord. The extension they sell is a reasonable price but I had an outdoor rated extension with a multiplugged end and this is working well. The landing mat and the stair mats are not quite the same width and there are different widths to both types so measure carefully!

I received fast service shipping them out when purchased. I had to connect the power cord to the mat and had questions about steps I should take doing so. I used email to contact the support as instructed through the web site and I still haven't heard back. I figured it out on my own and it works great melting snow on mat however it is just as slippery when the mat is wet, so I had to come up with a solution for traction. Now it is working well.
