I bought this bench because of its size and it is aluminum. It was going in a green house and I wanted something that would not rust.
When I unboxed it , I feared it was to light weight but I went ahead and put it together. To my joy, it is very sturdy when you get all the pieces together. I really wanted a bench that was like a tray on top. When I got this, the bent edge made the perfect tray. I put the bench together with the top plate upside down! Assembly was straight forward, even turning the top shelf upside down. Some of the screw holes did not line up so I just grabbed and drill and made the hole a little bigger. My biggest concern is I am sure the screws are some cheap allow and they will eventually rust. I can imagine stainless screws would have added another $5 to the cost and vevor is all about saving so the screws are pretty cheap. I liked this table so well, I bought a second one!
fyi vevor. I would post pics but I have tried 3 times and they will not upload and I have spent more time on this than I intended.
Sorry readers, I really wanted you to see the upside top!
