Worked perfectly for a few months then started acting up. I have to go out every night to check because I never know when it’s going to close properly.

Bought an expensive ($$!) one almost 2 years ago and it had issues. To the point that i took it off and just had it leaning on the fence for almost a year.Came across this one and figured it was a decent price and I can return it if it doesn't work.When i opened the box, I thought it was a bit flimsy but when I set it up, so far, the thing is great! Settings weren't too hard to figure out. It's nothing fancy, which may be a good thing cos then it won't crap out so fast.It's only been a month so who knows but now I don't have to get up early to let them out and make sure I'm home to lock them up. That's a win to me!Will update review in a couple months!

Mounted up nice in prepared opening. Keep bottom track clean for flawless operation. Read and understand directions several times. It is simple once you understand menu.

Works great! Installed in no time. I highly recommend it. Had to put mine sideways due to not enough room above the opening and it worked just fine.

I bought this chicken door because of some else's review of it. They had bought others that they had to replace. They did the leg work so I bought this one. It has worked perfectly every time.

My husband just out this in for me today, so I can’t really review how it works long term ( I’ll update if we have any problems) but so far I love it. We had it put up in 20 minutes, using only a drill and a level. It seems very sturdy, and was very easy to set up the timer. My only concern is that even on the lowest setting the door seems to come down fairly hard. We’ll see if that’s actually an issue.

I read all the reviews and wasn’t 100% sure about it but being a new chicken parent I needed to do something. The ladies would start screaming around 6am and I don’t always get up that early and I have neighbors who dont either. I recently rescued five 3 year old hens. They put themselves to bed around 8:30, the door goes down at 9pm. I go out and double check on them before bed and toss a handful of wormies and food on the ground. So when the door Goes up at 6am there is a little snack on the ground for them to search out and they remain quiet! It’s perfect.The auto door has worked out perfectly. Super happy I bought it. And I’m sure my neighbors are too

Excellent product. It has made our life so much easier, we no longer have to be home before dark. Timer is very easy to adjust. Perfect size for large rooster.

I am currently testing the door. I will be installing after the testing stage. As soon as door passes my testing stage I will install on my chicken coop.
