I tested it, and it seemed to work well, but my application was deeper than optimal for this item. I searched for a compatible float to keep it at the appropriate depth, and found nothing. I opted to order a 12 head with the float included from another vendor.

Works excellent inside, but the mist dissipates quickly in any kind of breeze. This is a great effect with the light and the mist, but it would be better if you could select the LED color. The discs don't last long if you leave it running ask the time, but if you just turn it on for special occasions, it's great!

My last got destroyed from rain. This is actually sealed

We used this for a Halloween effect in a container being continually filled by a small pump and a outlet hole to maintain the correct depth of water The mister output was strong and overall a very good value
