It makes a great amount of ice. We never run out for our family of 7. We love cold ice water. We even needed a cooler of ice for cold water and lunch meat. I took some (about 3-5 lbs maybe) out ahead of time and out into a container and stuck it in the freezer.
We wanted the water line to go from under our cabinet, so we needed to drill a hole in the corner of our sink and buy the little black ring thing from our hardware store.
Then, the filter didn’t say how it worked or how long, so we opted to buy our own filter, that way we knew how to replace it and when. The filter that came with the ice maker was stuck to the tubing and we would not have been able to take it off.
