This thing is awesome compared to its price. I have one at the fire department I work for and waited to see if there was going to be any problems with theirs getting beat up on a daily basis. It survived 2 years there so I decided to buy one for my house. So far only have used for beach and small fishing trips. The real savings for me is going to come during hunting season! Only thing I would buy in addition is the filter kit and a much bigger scoop and a 5 gallon bucket to move the ice from the machine to your cooler so you don’t have to carry a heavy cooler.

Great little ice machine for the money. Have only had it for about a month but I love it. Put a couple of bags a day in the freezer and keep the cooler full everyday. It is well worth the money.

So far this has been great. Doing a lot of fishing and outdoor activities requires lots of ice. Always wanted the ease of having my own ice machine but couldn’t justify the price of the big name units. Well with prices of a bag of ice reaching ridiculous levels I snatched one of these up when I saw the price. Makes ice fast and reliably. I fill bags and put them in a chest freezer and have yet to run out of ice. My dog loves it too. I recently discovered she likes ice baths so now I can fill her kiddy pool with ice.
Thanks for another great product at a price real people can afford.

It makes makes more than enough ice for all fishing charters. I have 500 pounds bagged up in my chest freezers all time. And I sell it to the Amish crews or anyone who wants to buy it. so it paying its self off

This unit was installed in about 15 minutes and was producing ice in about 10 minutes after that. We use this to keep our food and drinks cold on the boat. It has produced and stored enough ice to do that for a few weekends now. I was buying about 6 bags of ice a weekend and have not had to buy any ice since we hooked this up. If it last, it should pay for itself by the end of next summer.
