Yes, it comes with baskets and sponges. I haven’t used the sponges provided. I use rock wool instead and it works very well.

Yes it does, it needs square baskets, though. I haven't been able to find square baskets but round 1s work

Hello John. It is a complete set of products and it can be used after installaiton. You need to buy seeds and fertilizer. There is no recycling box.
