Do you have to prime it before every time you use it?

This product requires a check valve or foot valve to be installed at the inlet. When using it for the first time, the pump body needs to be filled with water, which is not necessary afterward.

Does this pump have a built in pressure switch to adjust both the starting and stopping pressure points?

This pump realizes automatic start and stop through an electronic switch. It starts when water is flowing or the electronic switch senses that the pressure is lower than 1.5bar. It stops when the pressure is above 1.5bar and the water does not flow.
