Could you tell me if this product is UL listed
This product is CE certified, but not UL listed. It meets EU safety standards; UL certification is not applicable for the EU market and is not required for sale in Europe.

Do both the upper and lower platens heat? Or is it just heated on one side of the cap?
Both platens heat, though there can be a slight difference between top and bottom temps.
