Do I need the activated carbon sachets with this and, if so, where do they go and what size?

The main function of the carbon pack is to improve the taste, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t use it. It depends on which one you prefer. If you need a carbon pack, please search online. The carbon pack contains food-grade coconut shell activated carbon. The size needs to be within 7*10 and needs to be placed in the steel nozzle.

Is this made of stainless steel? High grade stainless steel? Is the receptacle made of glass? How long do they last? I would be making 2 - 3 gallons per day. Are they made for being used that much? Or do I need a more professional water distiller for that much usage?

All the parts that contact with liquid are made of 304 stainless steel, including inner tank, inner cap, condensing coil, water outlet, and water inlet. It takes only about 4 hours to make 4L (1.06 US gal) distilled water. 50Hz 750W heating element makes distillation speed over a quarter gallon per hour, distills up to 6 gallons per day.
