One concern I have is the size of the terminal connections. The leads from the battery to the isolation solenoid are AWG 4 Gauge. Can I either hook up the eye connector or strip the wires and hook them to this device ?

4awg is a bit too big for this product; 5awg would be sufficient. This terminal is only 10.8mm thick. You can compare to see if it's compatible. If it's not, you'll have to strip the wire.

Can I hook this charger up to and charge an acid lead 12v battery safely and do I need any other devices/ leads?

Yes, you can. You'll also need an ignition cable to connect it, and you'll need to set it to lead-acid mode for charging.

I have an rv with a 12v acid lead battery. I foolishly bought a lifepo 4 12v battery that does not fit. Can I use this dc to dc charger to run from the llithium battery to charge the acid lead battery? Do I need additional materials? Can I leave them connected overnight?
