Can I hook up more than one battery to this? Also will it work if I buy the 1800 watt motor and then use a 1500 watt battery?

It requires 6 12V lead-acid batteries in series. An 1800 watt motor can use a 1500 battery, but it cannot exert the performance of the 1800 watt motor.
