Can the motor be used with a 60v battery if I use a different controller?

The controller is 60/72V universal. You can use 60V battery, but the power is reduced and the speed becomes slower. Recommended to use 72V.

what kind of battery is recommended to power this motor if it is going to be installed into an ebike?

1. Does the controller cutoff (Under-voltage) power at 67V? If "yes" skip question 2. 2. Can you power this controller and motor with 60V DC? 3. Does the controller only provide 48V DC to the motor. Do you have an external potentiometer that can be used instead of the "handlebar grip"? Thank You Tom

Hello Thomas. The controller can't be used with 60V DC. Normal operating voltage is 72-78V. You can use potentiometer with 10K. But you need to buy by yourself.
