So your product description says this is IP65 water proof. I am mounting this on a gooseneck dump trailer and the controller does not seam to be IP65 water proof. The controller is not a sealed unit. Is it going to hurt the electronic of the control module if they get wet?
The solar panel itself is rated IP67, If the controller gets wet, water may damage the electronic components. We recommend installing the controller in a dry, protected location and avoiding direct exposure to rain or water.
