Can it be used on Polyethylene? And can it be buried?
The product is generally wrapped around the pipe or placed on the eaves to melt ice, and the product design function is to melt ice and snow.

Can I use this on buried pvc drain pipe? And what would you wrap it with prior to burying?
Dear Customer, Thanks for your inquiry.
It can be used on underground pipes, but only on the outside of the pipe, not inside. Please use insulation material to wrap the heating cable for heat preservation, but do not wrap the thermostat. The thermostat should be placed on the pipe, and the insulation material is recommended to be prefabricated foam or glass fiber material.
