Everything looks like metal-well made machine-I've used it four times so it has paid for itself-easy to get around and if you get one there is an on line video about using the machine-good luck and happy holidays!

I don't know but I want to warn you that this overpriced machine constantly gets tangled causing a lot of extra work pulling out the entire 100 feet of cable and then trying to carefully wind it back into the drum. It seems to work as one would expect for the first 35 feet or so but after going deeper than that it's a joke.
