Can the machine use the 2:1 pitch wire?
What coils do you suggest for this machine? I am trying to bind less than 15 sheets.
I am looking to make notebooks with spiral binding. I would perfer to use metal spiral than plastic, Can I use metal so long as it's 3:1 pitch? The other question I have is I need the holes to be spaced 1/4" apart -- will this machine make that distance or is it set at a sifferent size. I am measuring from center hole to the next center hole to achieve the 1/4" spacing.
Metal coils cannot be used; this product is a machine with a hole pitch of 1/3 inch.

Can this machine be used to punch and bind cardboard? Not heavy cardboard boxes, but something like a cereal box?
Yes, it can punch and bind lightweight cardboard, such as cereal box material, as long as it is within the machine's punching capacity. It is not suitable for thick or corrugated cardboard.

I just got this machine today and using the blotting paper but it does not punch the fourth hole coming from left to right. Is this something I can fix?
When punching holes, try pressing down firmly.
