what is the staple size for the R-106 stapler

The staple slide has detatched from the spring and we cannot figure out how to get them back together. We have the spring pulled back out but when we reattach it does not appear to push staples forward. The manual is not helpful for this. Can you provide any diagrams or instructions on how to fix this?

Once pulled out, it cannot be reinstalled. You need to replace the entire machine head.
