Can the exhaust and intake pipes/hoses be vented higher then the heater or do they need to be level or lower

The exhaust pipe and air intake pipe need to be installed downward by the machine, installed lower than the machine, or horizontally. They can only have one bend and extend to the outside of the car or outdoors.

Trying to verify that I understand temperature control on this unit. If in automaic with a set point of 50 degrees F, will the unit cycle on and off as needed to maintain setpoint, or does it run constantly to setpoint, then turn off and stay off so that you must select on again to have it run?

The machine will not start or stop automatically after reaching the set temperature. After reaching the set temperature, the wind speed and fuel consumption will be reduced, and the lowest gear will run.

How long can the exhaust pipe be. Manual indicates using provided exhaust pipe, but I need more length to run exhaust away from breathing areas. Can the exhaust pipe be extended if it is not restrictive?

The exhaust pipe that comes with the machine is 60cm. If you need to lengthen it, it is best not to exceed 1.5 meters, and the bending range should not be too large.
