Yes it can be shipped. Foam inside is sub par if you ask me I had to replace for better protection

It's a very good case.. the bottom layer of foam is thicker than the top., yet it will keep your firearm well protected in shipment - and yes, UPS will ship it. It also has good latches that keep the top closed, but I always put combination locks on the holes provided in the top , for extra added protection from of course, it opening, but theft as well (during shipment)..
