Could you please tell me which end of the pool should I stand to determine if it is a left step or right side step? Do I stand at the shallow end, or the deep end? Thank you.

Before I order, can the cover be used upside down? There is conflicting answers above. I have left side steps, but your 22x42 cover only comes in right side steps
