what has to be changed to get both ports to hold position after the button is released and how? Also how to you adjust the pressure to the maximum on the unit.

There are overflow valves on both sides, which can be adjusted clockwise to increase pressure

Is it possible to run this pump at a lower speed, I want to reduce the ram speed dramatically, so would you recommend any way to slow it?

Hi, we don't recommend that the 12V DC Dump Truck Hydraulic Pump run at a lower speed anymore. If you insist , we suggest you install a tube throttle. Thanks
