Is there a way to remove and reinstall the tray? Mine was installed up side down and I need to turn it over

Tap the back of the cushion with a wooden mallet, remove the cushion, and the tray can be reinstalled. If this answer does not resolve your issue, please contact us again for assistance.

Can the tray be omitted in the set up? I don't need or want it and want to make sure I can assemble it without the red tray.
