I got pallets of 36x36" bluestone,1.25" thick to lay out a patio and walkway. 36.5" might get to the edges but I don't think it could grip it by the edges. I question that but also if the points are to narrow to balance them. 48" bet would be great
The maximum opening is 38 inches, and we don’t have one with an opening of 48 inches. 36 inches may be able to be clamped, but our product is clamped with wood, not stone.

This product is not suitable for buckets. It is mainly used to hook wood, stone, or long cylindrical objects. If you want to use the product to hook buckets, it is best to use a tie-down strap.
