Very interested in this item. But the a little confused about the thickness of the stainless steel used for the canner.
In the item Specifications it states "Thickness of Steel Plate: 0.06"; / 1.5 mm", but in the Features & Details it states "The extra thickness (0.3MM) ensures its durability for a long service time."
Can you verify which thickness is correct?
The water bath canner can hold up to 49.21 liters of water if no canning jars are placed. Each canning jar has a capacity of 0.946 liters, so: If you put 1 canning jar, you should put another 48.264 liters of water (49.21 liters - 0.946 liters).
