I need to replace a 2012 Watkins 1431701-3 spa pump. This model looks like it is a direct replacement. The only difference I see is my old one has a single capacitor and yours is a dual capacitor. Could you please confirm that this will replace my old one. . Thank you.

I have to install a barbed connector in the front of the pump in place of one of the plugs. What size is it. My old pump was 1/4 " but it will not screw into the pump.
