It will not stay up in soil unless you create a hole with concrete.

I would suggest against installing it into soil. The pegs would not go deep enough to provide you with the necessary security. Another alternative would be to dig out post holes (at least 6” across and 12” deep) and fill it with cement around the provided inserts that would support the poles. A lot more work, but much more secure.

Yes you can with a piece of PVC driven in the ground. It does not come w these. And the last time I checked this company didn’t support this product.
