The question was asked, "Can the water outlet port be turned to the side instead of staying on top of the pump?". The answer was not quite clear. Can the pump housing be rotated 90 degrees in relation to the motor? Thank you

I bought the VEVOR Sand Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools, 12-inch, 3000 GPH, 1/2 HP Swimming Pool Pumps System & Filters Combo Set with 6-Way Multi-Port Valve & Strainer Basket, for Domestic and Commercial Pools a couple of years ago. What is the largest pump that will work with the 12 inch filter?

YES, I CAN SEE HOW NPT 1-1/2" ADAPTER & 48.5mm ADAPTER FIT TOGETHER. HOWEVER, THERE SEEMS TO BE A SLIGHT PROBLEM WHICH SIDE THE " O " SHOULD SIT ... Re: to prevent having to strip it down to make a correction.

This pump is factory equipped with a 1.5” connector. You only need to provide a hard pipe with an outer diameter of 48.5 mm to use it with the connector.
