What does the base plate which the router attaches to look like? It is not shown in any of your photos and I'm not sure that it is listed as part of the "package contents." It would help to see how the router attaches so it slides across the rails ... seems like that is a key component to this sled system.

This connecting plate is generally an accessory of the trimming machine and is not included in the package.
