Yes, it’s also possible to install an external fuse, which provides an extra layer of protection.
The machine came with a built-in fuse, which is sufficient already.

what battery is recommended to use with this inverter to backup 2 1/3 HP sump pumps? Is 1 battery enough for both sump pumps?
For the best performance, we recommend using a 200Ah battery. In addition, the power draw of each sump pump should ideally not exceed 6A. Whether a single battery is sufficient for both pumps depends on their actual power consumption and runtime requirements.

This unit comes with two 3-foot long 4 AWG (American Wire Gauge) battery connecting cables fitted with standard ring terminals.

When the load is activated, the specific power consumption will be displayed, indicating that the device is in battery mode.
In AC mode, the display shows 0W.
