This ramp is very very sturdy. It is rated to support 2200 lbs. As it is ~ 42 inches wide, many vehicle wheel bases' are wider than that, making a requirement of 2 to support a vehicle's width. And since it would only be supporting the front (or rear) half of a vehicle, that makes the weight even less. It really should be ok to drive a car over it.

The ramp is really heavy but I don't know about driving a car over it

I only used it as a doorway ramp - do not believe that it can with stand a car being driven over it numerous times.

Yes. This ramp is heavy and tough.

It would take one for each tire to drive on, and each is rated for only 2200#. It would probably work for a small compact to midsized car, but anything bigger would weigh too much. But, why take the chance when you can get curb ramps made specifically for cars and rated at 10k# for less than half the cost of these.

Yes. I'm in SoCal and have two of these. One in front in full sun and one in the covered back porch. It's been around two years and both look and perform exactly the same.

Probably since it is made of a high density rubber. It is extremely heavy. I'm not sure what kind of heat your talking about though.

Not sure what is meant by @excessive heat@? It held up out doors in mid to upper 90 degree heat this summer.

It can handle it, but it's rubber. It gets VERY hot in direct sunlight. We're using it with our elderly pets, and we keep another carpeted mat on top of it to absorb some of the heat.

I'm using it as a shed entrance lift and so far, it's quite durable in the heat the mid-west has.

I don’t know of your abilities, but it is a solid piece; a walker could be scooted along the surface. It is heavy-you might need help getting it set up.

I don't use a walker, but this ramp works great with either my manual or my heavy electric wheelchair. It is very sturdy, so I see no reason why it won't work for a walker. I would recommend it.
