This light is turned on and off manually, and it will not be on 24 hours/7 days. The general operation is that when the duct blower is working (when the duct starts to deliver air), the UV light is turned on, and when the duct stops delivering air, the UV should be turned off, otherwise if there is no air passing through the UV lamp, the light will be ineffective.
