Is this solar powered? The pictures look like there is a solar panel but nowhere in the description is it mentioned.

This is solar powered. It's just that when there is no sun, it can be powered by AC power, so it can be used for both

Does this unit have an onboard battery or will it just come on when the sun is up and go off when there is not enough sun? Where I can set up in attic and let the Sun turn it ON and let it go OFF when the Sun is down. I do not want it I need to switch it ON or OFF manually

Hello, this fan does not have a storage battery, but only a solar panel for power generation. It automatically turns on when there is sunlight during the day and turns off when the sun sets. If you want to manually intervene in its on or off, you can only adjust the temperature controller.

I am installing the fan in a shed. It is a DIY project. However, I have finished the interior of the shed and therefore the walls are 5 inches thick, finished . It appears the fan goes on the interior wall to draw the air out of the shed and therefore does VEVOR provide a vent panel that may be used for the exterior of the building? Thank you

Fans are typically mounted on interior walls to exhaust air. We do not carry fans designed for exterior walls; if mounted on an exterior wall, they would blow air into the room. If this answer does not resolve your issue, please contact us again for assistance.

Based on the location of where I will be installing solar panel I will need a an extension cable. What are the specs of the extension cable? Which cable is compatible with this solar panel that is available on the Vevor website?

This says 15v. Is it DC current? If so, could I power it from AC power with a AC/DC power supply instead of solar and still use the included thermostat?
