Can fence be taken back down if needed then put back same place if we need to work on our wooden fence behind it?

Once the repair is complete, use a power adapter indoors to fully charge the device before reinstalling it in its original location! I've been using this fence energizer kit with the solar panel for a few weeks with zero problems, went out this morning and its not sending the signal out to create the shock. I unplugged solar power and plugged in power cord, which still didnt make power come on. Unit was showing 90 percent power charge with the solar and plugged in. Is there anything I can do before starting the return process. Thanks for your time
