What type of warranty comes with this product? I seem to remember when I ordered online couple years ago it was lifetime warranty?

Long term concerns I'd have is water getting into the unit, which would cause failure in short order. Also, if the cover for the solar cell gets degraded and hazy by sunlight exposure, the charging capability would decrease.

What size batteries do they use?

I don’t think you can change batteries they are water proof. Has mine for two years no issues and they are on my dock

I'm considering using for our dock walkway which is about four feet wide. How many feet of spacing is needing, in order to light up walkaway. In addition, should you install them side by side or do most folks stagger them?
