can the amps be manually adjusted for the desulfation mode?

No, the amperage cannot be manually adjusted in desulfation mode. Desulfation is an automatic pulse repair function, and the charging current is fully controlled by the charger automatically. Manual current adjustment is only available in normal charging mode.
