It is a very heavy and thick plastic hose compared to the thin ones meant for dryer exhausts so take that into consideration if you need something light.
Its fits my 8" exhaust so it should not fit over anything bigger than that.
I would not take a chance on purchasing if you are intending to use on both.
Unless you can narrow the width of the fan mount on the 8.5", you may be disappointed
About this flexible pipe hose, this product unpacking more or less will be a little bit of odor, this after a period of time will be gone. It is not recommended for connection to commercial grade propane systems.
