This can not dice veggies like onions and tomatoes.

it says " cutting thickness is allowed to be regulated from 0 to 3 in (0-8 mm)" which is it? 3 in is 76mm, 8 mm is about 3/8 inch

It should say 0.3 inches I think, since 8 mm = 0.315 inches. It slices thin, so definately NOT 3" thick.
