When the cool air function is turned on, the water pump draws water from the water tank into the small flip-top compartment, where it flows through the cooling pads and back into the water tank, creating a water circulation loop. The ice crystal tray is placed inside the small flip-top compartment, and water flows through it. We recommend using the cool air fan in a well-ventilated area.
