The purpose of the drain pump is to pump out the accumulated water in the ice storage bucket. When the ice maker makes ice cubes, the ice cubes fall into the ice storage bucket for storage. If the user uses it quickly, there will be no water in the ice storage bucket, and the drain pump can be omitted. If there are a lot of ice cubes stored in the ice storage bucket and the user does not use it much, some of the ice cubes will melt over time and water will accumulate in the ice storage bucket.
