How tall is it when fully extended?
Why is there a threaded hole on the front-right top of the platform?
This jack is for use in a chemistry lab for example. A support rod is attached via this threaded hole onto which other items are attached like a holder for a flask, distillation condenser, etc., various support items.

What's the thickness of the threaded rod used for adjustment ? I want to adapt something else onto the rod.
The rod appears to be a 1/4-20 or perhaps a metric equivalent about 8 inches from tip to handle and has a non threaded area in the center to act as a stop.
