Why can't Vevor use proper pump for gasoline? The reviews indicate included pump is plastic, not for gasoline, maybe for Diesel.

Is it safe to use lubricant in the hand-crank pump, on the o-ring and carbon wipers? Or will this cause contamination? Is there a specific type of lubricant I should use when maintaining or rebuilding?
