While filling 30 gal caddy while in the bed of a pickup where should the ground wire be connected to prevent static? Also is this caddy made using 201 stainless and does vevor recommend coating the inside to prevent rust?

The grounding clamp should be directly connected to exposed, unpainted/rusted metal parts on the pickup truck bed. If refueling is done at a fixed location (such as a farm or construction site), the grounding clamp can be connected to the on-site metal grounding stake or grounding grid terminal. The main body of the fuel tank is made of carbon steel.
