I got 2 blades. A regular and a serrated and you can order replacement blades for about $15 It's better than a knife. You have to manipulate it to cut it thin. It fits on the counter and it doesn't weigh much. It's not a $300-500 pro deli slicer, but it's not bad and much lighter and worth the hundo, but don't over-expect. Otherwise spend the $500 on the HEAVY slicer.

I slice a ham. Depending on how tough the outer skin is. the skin bend of you slice it too thin. I believe it does a good job. I'm happy with it.

I sent the item back.I mismeasured. It was too big for my counter.I am still waiting for my refund to appear on my credit card, as I pay interest on money spent.
