We used our machine for the first time and we couldn’t get the liquid to freeze up into slushee. It was set at the -2.0 for slushy and we had it on for hours, it got small clumps of slush but stayed in liquid form the whole time. We used slushee mix and water. Are there any secrets or something I don’t know to get this to work?

Step 1, the sugar content needs to exceed 13%. If your ingredients have less than 13% sugar, please keep adding sugar. Step 2, please set around -2°C to -3°C if there is no alcohol in the material. If the machine makes slush that is still liquid, adjust to -4.0°C or lower. Set around -6°C to -9°C when alcohol is in the material. Step 3, and the amount of material to be added needs to exceed this minimum water level.

Where can I get the correct percentages of water, mix and alcohol for the 15L tanks?

The ratio of sugar to water is 1:6-1:7.5, but the sugar content must exceed 13%. The material placed must exceed the minimum water level. Between 6L-10L. About 10% alcohol. If there is no alcohol, set it to -2°C to -3°C, if it is still liquid, please adjust it to -4.0°C or lower. If alcohol is added, set it to -6℃ to -9℃.
