Does the unit need its own breaker switch?
Hello can this unit be mounted to a mobile home that has an outdoor water heater closet with a fresh air door vent and a exhaust vent on the ceiling

Can it be installed in a basement and vented outside?
The ventilation openings are made of stainless steel. The machine should be installed in a well-ventilated location, not in an enclosed space.

Can I use propane with this unit?
What type of cover is required or recommend to protect it. Should it be t only at the top or every side and the front? Or can it be mounted outside indirect rain with no protection?
This unit is designed for outdoor installation, and a full all-around protective cover is not mandatory officially. However, a rain cap for the exhaust flue is a must. Only a top shelter cannot fully block rain from sides and front. Even if the unit only gets indirect rain exposure, it is not recommended to install it without any weather protection, as long-term moisture may cause rust and damage electrical components. A ventilated full weather cover is suggested for longer service life.
